The company was a leading U.S. manufacturer of branded stud bolts and ring joint gaskets used primarily in high stress environments due to pressure, temperature or corrosion. Freestone exited this business in 2007.

Freestone Partners, LLC, announced that it has acquired Dan-Loc Bolt & Gasket, Inc. of Houston in an asset purchase. The company was acquired from The Flexitallic Group, Inc., also of Houston. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Dan-Loc Bolt & Gasket is a 40-year-old manufacturer of fasteners and high-pressure metal gaskets used by the energy industry.
